Which photos buyers expect, in what order, and how to shoot them on your lot.
The set buyers look for
- Front three-quarter first, then rear, both sides, dashboard, odometer, front and rear seats, engine bay and tyres.
- Add 12 or more photos and the ad gets a walkaround viewer automatically.
- Photograph scratches and dents and mark them as imperfections; buyers trust ads that show them.
On the lot
- Shoot in open shade in the morning or late afternoon, with the car clean and the wheels straight.
- Cover or blur plate numbers; a moderator rejects photos with a readable plate.
