Safety tips for buyers
Meet safely, check the papers and never pay before you see the vehicle.
Before you pay
- Meet the seller at a police station or a busy public place, in daylight.
- Check that the engine and chassis numbers match the OR/CR, and get a PNP-HPG motor vehicle clearance.
- Never pay a reservation fee, deposit or “release fee” before you have seen the vehicle and its papers.
